Below are the common shortcuts I use when using a Windows machine.

Browser Navigation

(1) Ctrl + T to open a new tab

(2) Ctrl + Shift + T to open the last tab closed in your browser

(3) Ctrl + W to close the current tab in your browser

(4) Hold Ctrl + < click a link > to open it in a new tab

(5) Ctrl + Pg Up to switch to the next tab on the LEFT

(6) Ctrl + Pg Dn to switch to the next tab on the RIGHT

(7) Ctrl + Home to scroll to the TOP of the page

(8) Ctrl + End to scroll to the BOTTOM of the page

(9) F5 to refresh

(10) F6 to highlight the URL/link of the current page

(11) Ctrl + F to search / find

Security / Troubleshooting

(12) Windows Key + L to lock screen

(13) Ctrl + Alt + Del to access password change and/or Task Manager

(14) Alt + Tab to switch between open programs

(15) Alt + F4 to close current program

Filing System

(16) Ctrl + N when in File Explorer to open another window

(17) Ctrl + Shift + N creates a new folder

(18) F2 to rename files/folders/cells

(19) Tab to jump to the next field

Data Entry

(20) Ctrl + arrow keys to jump to the next text / field / row

(21) Ctrl + A to select all

(22) Ctrl + C to copy

(23) Ctrl + V to paste

(24) Ctrl + Shift + V to paste without formatting

(25) Ctrl + X to cut

(26) Ctrl + Z to undo

(27) Ctrl + Y to redo the last action

(28) Ctrl + B to bold

(29) Ctrl + I to italicize

(30) Ctrl + U to underline

(31) Alt + Shift + 5 to strikethrough the highlighted text in Google Suite

(32) Ctrl + K to add a hyperlink to the highlighted text

(33) Ctrl + Shift + LEFT ARROW to highlight from the current character to the next word on the LEFT

(34) Ctrl + Shift + RIGHT ARROW to highlight from the current character to the next word on the RIGHT

(35) Shift + End highlights the current character to the end of the current row

(36) Shift + Home highlights the current character to the start of the current row
